Unter den zwölf Teilnehmern der BEM 2016<\/strong>, die als 5-rundiges Wochenendturnier in Welper <\/strong>stattgefunden hat, fanden sich drei Spieler aus unseren Reihen. Marcel Quast <\/strong>konnte die ersten drei Runden gewinnen, wonach ihm zwei Remisen in den Schlussrunden zur Titelverteidigung genügten. Thomas Berens<\/strong> spielte gegen vier Spieler der ersten fünf Plätze und musste sich etwas unglücklich mit 50% Punktausbeute zufrieden geben, nachdem er in der letzten Runde ein remises Endspiel verlor. Matthias Gawlick<\/strong> spielte ein ordentliches Turnier und dabei gelang ihm in Runde zwei ein beachtliches Remis gegen einen 500 DWZ-Punkte besseren Gegner.
